| It Was the Year Without a Santa Claus |

Kisa has been really down and out since she's convinced herself that Santa Claus is dead. We have all been trying to get her out of her funk and today the plan was to take her and the rest of the kids to the park where they were having Santa and some reindeer. I called Cross and got him to drag his brood along too because come on...it's Santa and reindeer.
It was all going swimmingly I mean the kids where having a blast and loving the animals and talking to Santa and it was awesome! Of course that was until we all headed home....I asked Kisa what she thought about Santa and everything today. She smiled and told me it was fun and all. I have to admit I was glad and thankful until we got home and she informed me that she wanted to write a letter to Frosty the Snowman.
What? Yeah that's right Kisa is all excited about Frosty. I don't know how or why but she in convinced that Frosty is going to save the day! Yes Frosty is going to come and deliver presents to all the good boys and girls. Okay fine I can live with Frosty being our hero. Yes life getting back to semi-normal....only not!
Rev and Lady both decided to inform Kisa that if Frosty was going to come and deliver presents that he would melt. Of course tears followed and now our house is set on like 55 degrees and we are all dressed in warm layers, but Kisa and the rest of the kids are happy in the knowledge that when Frosty gets to our house he wont melt.
Oh the things you do to make your children happy.

Have I mentioned how having a teenager is going to kill me?
Yeah today Dimitri gets upset with the required family visit to Santa at the mall, so how does he decide to rebel? HE TELLS THE REST OF THE KIDS THAT SANTA IS REALLY DEAD! Petal and Kisa start bawling...I mean bawling. The twins get into an argument with Dimitri and each other....which leads to an actual fist fight and I really wanted to just walk away and pretend that they were not even my kids.
But, I have to accept ownership and drag my brats back out to the car with me and all the while whole Kisa is asking why Santa is dead and who would kill Santa and why are we even celebrating Christmas if he's dead. Yes my five-year-old is on a mission of reverence now trying get us to end Christmas. I caught her trying take down our tree...she had all the ornaments taken off that she could reach and she was just in tears.
Yes, today has just been awesome.

| Can't sleep |

Having an almost teenager is about to kill me. Dimitri is only 12 but he's acting like a bratty teen. I love my nephew I really do and he has a good heart...when he isn't being a pain! I know I have issues with letting my kids grow-up, but I don't think I am overbearing, or oppressive, or cruel. I mean Dimitri is 12 and I am sorry but that's too young to be hanging out at the mall with just a few friends. Of course when I tell him this it leads to a huge fight about how I just don't understand him and how I clearly want to ruin his life because I hate him. Really? I honestly couldn't love him more even if he was my own child, but he's a young man, (as he likes to remind me,) and they don't see things as clearly as well grown men.
I dunno, I am just really struggling to connect with him anymore and today it got the better of me and I have let it rob me of my sleep...which means I will be cranky tomorrow...cranky and having to deal with a moody boy...damn.

 Ohio Moonbeam Brady
Had an older brother, Phoenix Sunshine Brady, who was kidnapped as a child and was only discovered a few years ago.
Has three children with his former girlfriend, Ladybug, Revolution, and Petal. Unfortunately, his girlfriend passed away soon after the birth of Petal.
In 2005 following the death of his older brother he took in and adopted his niece and nephew.
In the mid 1980s he and some friends founded the boy band Audio Thief and they produced their first album Take That and Party in 1985.
Wanting to branch out from just music he looked into television and in 1993 he landed the role of Tommy Oliverin the Mighty Morphine Power Ranger kid series.
In 1996 he got the part of the Australian Jasper Jax in the soap General Hospital which he still reprises every now and then on the show.
Currently lives with Jenna Boran the writer and executive producer of The Vampire Diaries..
Aside from his girlfriend and children Ohio's house is filled with a wild assortment of animals: Blondie-hamster, Beatles-dog, Do-cat, Re-cat, Mi-cat, Hendrix-Boa.
